Core Kinetics Pilates Trainers

Core Kinetics Pilates offers some of the most qualified and highly trained Pilates trainers in the Pacific Northwest. Our trainers are independent contractors who use the Core Kinetics Pilates studio space to present their unique instructional gifts to clients of all ages and ability levels.

Ella Eastham

Ella is a certified Stott Pilates instructor (Mat/Reformer/CCB), licensed PTA (physical therapist assistant), and ACE personal trainer. She has been in the fitness realm for fifteen years starting at UCLA to the US Army to physical therapy and the last 5 years in her favorite: Pilates!  Ella specializes in evaluating Posture, Women's Health, Scapulae Stabilization, Osteoporosis, and Gentle Pilates. Her primary objective is helping all people find their ideal posture and movements in strong, healthy bodies to gain the most quality out of their lives.  Her hobbies include fitness, baking, coffee, and her cats Smoochey, Karma, Karel and Mimi.

Jen Lynch

Jennifer is a Polestar-certified Pilates practitioner (studio and mat certifications). She has been teaching Pilates for over seven years, and is co-Founder of Core Kinetics Pilates.  Jennifer is also a Balanced Body University Faculty member and teacher trainer.   She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Washington University in Pre-Physical Therapy, as well as a Master of Science in Human Movement and Performance from Western Washington University. She taught biomechanics and kinesiology labs for Western, and is anxious to expand into teaching Anatomy in Clay as well as the Franklin Method.  Jen loves to run, dance, sing, kayak, and do just about anything with movement or music.

In 1997 Katie graduated from the University of Montana with a BS in Exercise Science. Since graduation she has worked in physical therapy clinics helping develop post-rehabilitative exercise programs for various injuries. While working in physical therapy she focused my continuing education in spinal stability. Other certifications include: Power Pilates Certified, ACE Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Certified, and CPR certified. Extra curricular activites include spending time with my two young children, road and mountain biking, as well as hiking.

Carolyn Watson

Carolyn is the owner of Core Kinetics Pilates, and is a Polestar-certified Pilates practitioner (Allegro, Studio and Mat certifications), and has been teaching Pilates for over nine years. She is a member of the Balanced Body University Faculty, and is a teacher trainer throughout the Pacific Northwest. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Washington University in Exercise Science, as well as a Master of Science in Human Movement and Performance from Western Washington University. She was a distance runner at Utah State University, and continues to run competitvely at events throughout the northwest. Carolyn has also recently taken up the sport of surf ski kayak racing, and is enjoying learning a new sport and developing dry land training programs for paddling enthusiasts.


Lise Waugh

Lise has a diverse background in health and fitness that spans over 25 years. She holds numerous certifications including: Stott Pilates, Thai Yoga Therapy (Saul David Raye, Kam Thye Chow, and Pierce Salguero), Structural Yoga Therapy (Mukunda Stiles),Yoga (Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, Holistic, Restorative, and Iyengar influenced), Group Exercise (AFAA) and Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, AFAA). She holds a BA from Stephens College in Columbia, MO and has completed graduate studies in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton. Lise is a prior trainer of trainers for the Arthritis Foundation and created a Senior Fit Instructor Training program at CSUF. While living in California for 20 years, she had the opportunity to work with MLB athletes and high school football, soccer, and volleyball teams.Lise has an eclectic style of teaching that evolves with the groupat hand. She believes each student and each moment is different, and therein the practice will vary from day to day. No two classes are exactly alike. She encourages her students to breathe(!), to explore personal limits with respect and joy (lila), and to greet their practice with acceptance and gratitude. Student leave class feeling better than when they came; they learn to be kind to themselves (their bodies) and to not take it too seriously! Its only Yoga or Pilates! Have a little fun!
